Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions about solar panels, installation, or pricing?
We’ve compiled answers to the most common queries to help you make informed energy decisions.
1. What is the recovery period of my investment?
INB Solar Pakistan provides a complete IRR‑based financial feasibility analysis, based on a detailed site assessment, which outlines the payback period and financial metrics related to the project.
Q2. What is the maintenance procedure once I have Solar PV installed at my premises?
A simple cleaning process is required to maintain the solar PV modules. The cleaning schedule depends on site conditions and is recommended by the certified technical team of INB Solar Pakistan.
Q3. How much space do I require for my solar system?
Space requirements depend on terrain and module tilt. On a smooth surface, you typically need about 110 to 150 sq ft per kW.
Q4. How will I be able to keep a check of the overall productivity of the system?
Once installed, you can monitor your system remotely via a web portal—simply log in from anywhere with an internet connection to view your daily energy usage.
Q5. Can I convert my ACs or other heavy appliances on solar too?
Yes. Modern solar systems allow integration of heavy appliances—including ACs—into your solar setup.
Q6. Do solar panels work in cloudy weather?
Yes. Solar panels still generate power through diffused sunlight on cloudy days, although output may be reduced compared to clear skies.
Q7. Is our country viable for solar energy production?
Yes. Pakistan receives high solar irradiance, making it one of the most suitable countries for solar energy development.
Q8. The excess production of energy—how could I be benefited from that?
Excess energy can either be fed back into the national grid under net‑metering or, in off‑grid setups, used to charge batteries for later use.
Q9. How do I know if my roof is able to bear the load of the solar PV system?
INB Solar Pakistan conducts a thorough structural analysis before proposal. For concrete rooftops, weight-bearing is usually not an issue; for corrugated steel or other types, load capacity is carefully assessed.
Q10. Are your Solar PV equipment approved by relevant government bodies?
Yes. All systems and equipment used by INB Solar Pakistan are fully approved by the Alternative Energy Development Board (AEDB) of Pakistan.
Q11. Are there any financing options?
Yes. Upon bank approval, financing is available up to 1 MW (and up to 20 kW for residential systems).
Q12. Can I get a customized system according to my need?
Absolutely. INB Solar Pakistan designs customized solar solutions tailored to the customer’s objectives.
Q13. How long will a solar energy system last?
Solar PV systems offered by INB Solar Pakistan have a lifespan of approximately 25 years.
Q14. Why is there a myth about solar panels not working?
This myth stems from issues such as:
Low product quality
Untrained technicians or improper installation
Poor design practices
INB Solar Pakistan avoids these pitfalls through the use of Tier‑1 products, skilled engineers, and best‑practice design and installation.
Q15. What is the benefit and environmental impact of solar energy?
Traditional fossil fuels involve destructive extraction, transportation, and exhaustion of resources.
Solar energy is infinite and free—after you’ve paid for your system, it essentially provides free energy thereafter.
Fossil fuel dependency leads to price volatility and geopolitical instability. Solar energy offers independence and long‑term economic stability.
